hMAG's January hMIXER

On Wednesday, January 27, hMAG hosted its first ever hMIXER at Three A’s Bar & Grill, 500 Grand Street. Co-sponsored by EatDrinkHoboken and Hoboken Volunteers, the mixer offered an open bar from 6-8PM for only $25. Guests enjoyed house wine, beer, and liquor, as well as some calamari and pizza provided by Three A’s. The hMIXER allowed the Hoboken community a chance to meet, greet, eat, drink, and network with members of the hMAG staff, as well as those of EatDrinkHoboken and Hoboken Volunteers. The new January/February issue of hMAG was also on display for all to peruse. The hMIXER, much like hMAG itself, gave Hoboken businesses the opportunity to promote themselves, with all proceeds from the event going to Three A’s. Community members networked over drinks to discuss possible occasions to support one another and ways to further benefit Hobokenites, not to mention blow off some steam after the workday! Two lucky winners even won $50 gift certificates donated by Three A’s at the event.

The hMIXER at Three A’s was the first of many monthly hMAG mixers to come, as hMAG is looking to work with many other businesses and groups to strengthen the Hoboken community.

Every month hMAG will be having a free hMIXER at an advertiser's venue to support local businesses because, after all, hMAG is all about the community. All proceeds from hMAG mixers go directly to the bar or restaurant catering the event. Every hMIXER is featured in an "EventPix" page in an issue of hMAG and on hmag.com.
