Sobsey’s Produce

March 18, 2010 posted 794 days ago Raves Chris Halleron

"Founded in 1992, Sobsey’s Produce exists to the delight of the gastronomist connoisseur. It is owned by Michael Sobsey and Mac Ayoubi, who are always present to offer advice and suggestions to their ever-growing legion of devoted followers. The modest boutique looks like it belongs on a street in Europe, rather than tucked away on our own 92 Bloomfield Street. The store offers gourmet produce, atypical sundries and organic meats not offered by the local pedestrian supermarket. It’s the perfect place for the Hobokenite inspired by their favorite cookbook, to pick up everything they need for that one of a kind dish."
