With an eatery on every corner, there is certainly no shortage of dining options in Hoboken. Yet when looking for a nice spot to bring the parents, issues like loud music, rowdy crowds, pricey menus and shoddy service whittle that list down to a precious few. Court Street Restaurant and Bar, tucked away on 6th between Washington and Hudson Sts, literally offers something for everyone. You need to know it’s there to find it, but over the years owner Jack Talbot has cultivated a fervent clientele for both the vibrant front bar and quiet dining area. Specials like Prime Rib Night (Monday) and Lobsterfest (Wednesday) are firmly marked on the culinary calendars of those in the know, and what can best be described as a fine-yet-casual dining atmosphere virtually guarantees an enjoyable visit with Mom and Dad.
