Every guy dreams of having a man cave in their home. Try convincing your wife to let you buy a bar and build the ultimate one. That’s just what the owners did when they built DC's Tavern (8th and Jefferson). Complete with pool table, Pabst and Schlitz and quite possibly the greatest jukebox in Hoboken, this place has it all. Not your typical Hoboken pub, you never know who you’ll meet at DC's or what might take place on any given night. With country music and girls dancing to honky tonk one night and local musicians chilling to a live jazz trio the next, DC's truly has something for everyone. Make sure to peruse the walls splattered by mementos from the owners’ glory days to find some old band posters and a stuffed version of a large fish that they may or may not have actually caught. Or you can just sit back and chat with one of the owners about how he pulled off every guy’s dream. Did I mention they have Pabst and Schlitz?
