With the recession, it’s been hard to entertain anyone on a low budget, let alone a fun-starved child in the summer. This season, let somebody else do the work...for FREE! Clearview Cinemas, located at 409 14th St. in Hoboken, is proud to present its Kids Club Summer Movie Series!
Last year, the Kids Club was such a hit, that the Hoboken Clearview Cinema has reopened its doors with even more opportunities for the whole family. As of this summer, kids can see free movies on not one, but two days a week! Every Wednesday and Thursday morning (10:30 AM), the Clearview will be screening popular family flicks for its “kids club.” This program, running through August 19th, 2010, works to provide both children and parents the relief they need through the hot, Hoboken summers.
What movies will be played? Only the best! “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”, “Monsters vs. Aliens”, “Fly Me to the Moon”, “Shorts”, “Hotel for Dogs”, “Aliens in the Attic”, “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs”, and “Astroboy” are all on the Kids Club visual menu.
As Doug Oines, senior vice president and general manager of Clearview Cinemas, can attest, “Now in its sixth consecutive year, our Kids Club Summer Movie Series has been a wonderful way for parents and summer camps to beat the heat and entertain children of all ages...Clearview remains committed to serving our communities with unique programs, and this series of great films, which we are showing free of charge, provides a valuable entertainment option for families.”
