September has arrived, Labor Day is around the corner, and cool weather is coming our way. This could only mean one thing—fall is here and school is back in session!
As many Hobokenites may have noticed, Stevens Institute of Technology just started classes back up for their fall semester and have a variety of extracurricular arts programs for students and the community lined up.
The DeBaun Center for Performing Arts is bringing back the Stevens One Act Festival for its 2010-2011 season and second year in a row. The festival features plays directed by and starring Stevens’ students and alumni, bringing the school and community together.
The One Act Festival begins on Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11 at 8PM at the DeBaun Center Auditorium (5th and Hudson Streets) with one-act plays including: “The Philadelphia” and “The Universal Language” by David Ives, “Brothers” by William Gadea, and “The Still Alarm” by George S. Kaufman.
Tickets are $5 for general admission. For more information on the One Act Festival or to purchase tickets, visit the DeBaun website or call 201-216-8933
