Your Thursday nights are about to get a lot more interesting!
Music lovers – come one, come all. Dino & Harry’s (163 14th St.) plays host to band Music for Grownups every first and third Thursday of the month! Starting at 10PM (and going until, well, late!), you can treat your ears to this Hoboken-based acoustic group whose “songlist has been described as ‘a music-lovers iPod on shuffle.’”
hMAG’s contributing photographer and fellow Hobokenite, Steve Berrebi, had a chance to attend Music for Grownups’ performance in December and raved about his experience:
I can speak for my friends and I that we all had a great time, especially when the Jack and Cokes were poured generously and the band swallowed their pride to play Guns and Roses. Trust me, we enjoyed the drinks and music!”
Music for Grownups performs arrangements from the 1950′s to the present with a variety of covers including Frank Sinatra, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, and the Barenaked Ladies. This talent has something for everyone.
Okay, so not only can you have some mouth-watering food (and cocktails!) from Dino & Harry’s but you can listen to a great range of music all in one evening. So what are you waiting for? Head over to Dino’s tonight, January 20th, and experience the offerings for yourself!
