It seems like we're hearing about more and more fundraisers happening in Hoboken - and we here at hMAG LOVE that! Seeing the community come together reminds us of what we love this place we call home.
Next up on the fundraiser event list? Today is the annual Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry's!
WHAT: Free Cone Day!
WHEN: Tuesday, April 12, 2011 from 12pm – 8pm
WHERE: Ben & Jerry’s, 405 Washington Street
WHY: To raise money for Hoboken’s Relay for Life, benefiting the American
Cancer Society
Free Cone Day? Now that's something we can sink our teeth into!
This year, the Hoboken location has invited the Hoboken Relay for Life committee and teams to be guest scoopers! We will be joined by Mayor Dawn Zimmer, Incumbent 4th Ward Councilman Timothy Occhipinti, as well as 4th Ward candidate Rami Pinchevsky. Lastly, we will also be joined by CBS reporter Katie McGee.
Ben & Jerry's will be giving away free cones today and all tips given to guest scoopers will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.
