Jessie James' Pre-Memorial Day Event

On Wednesday, May 18th, Jessie James, Wicked Wolf, and Beach Bum Tanning collaborated on an event at Jessie James boutique at 503 Washington. Even with the heavy rain outside, guest enjoyed a pre-Memorial Day weekend kickoff.

Jessica Powers from Wicked Wolf told us "we are always looking to support local partners. We have worked with Beach Bum Tanning and were looking for a local botique store in Hoboken to work with. Jessie James has been it! We love their clothing and think that their clientele is similar to ours."

"With the warm weather and change in season we want to get people excited about looking and feeling good," Rachel Luyster of Jessie James added, "We wanted to provide each of our customers with an evening in which they could really enjoy themselves all while giving them the opportunity to feel good about how they look, what they're wearing and what they're putting in their bodies!"

hMAG is a big supporter of  both Wicked Wolf and Jessie James, as you may remember from our recent rave on their boutique!

Rachel even noted that Jessie James has "a lot of great new lines that we have recently introduced such as Shakuhachi, a line from Sydney, Australia, Improvd, an edgier line out of NYC and Collina Strada, a great new handbag line who's designer, Hillary Taymour, graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology," for Hobokenites to shop through.

And let's not forget about Beach Bum Tanning, a savior for us pale chicks. At the event, they gave away vouchers for a free Platinum Level tan or Airbrush.

The event at Jessie James offered guests a complimentary spray tan from Beach Bum when $50 or more was spent, which is perfect for the upcoming holiday weekend. Wicked Wolf even treated guests to a healthy selection of their food including:

• Roasted Red Pepper Hummus served with fresh pita chips, celery and carrots
• Chicken and Broccoli Whole Wheat Pasta tossed in a garlic and olive oil sauce
• Portobello Panini: Grilled Portobello Mushroom with goat cheese, spinach and tomato on a fresh Chibatta bun
• Popeye Chicken Wrap: Grilled Chicken, spinah and fresh mozzarella with honey mustard
• Turkey Club Sliders: Fresh sliced turkey breast with lettuce, tomato, bacon and mayo

"We have a new menu coming out in June and have been setting up tastings at our local partners businesses to create small events to draw new and existing clients," Jessica added. "With Memorial Day coming up, we introduced our new healtheir items on the menu, and combined it with a free spray tan and fun summer clothes!"

From the looks of this successful event (on a not-so-ideal night weather-wise), it appears Hoboken can get used to a collaboration from Wicked Wolf, Jessie James and Beach Bum for more monthly tastings and events.
