“Finding forever homes…”
What could be more adorable than a basket of kittens? How about giving a furry bundle of joy a permanent home!
Started in 1987 with a focus on Hoboken and the rest of Hudson County, Companion Animal Placement (CAP) is a private animal welfare organization that emphasizes not only rescues but also trap, neuter and release initiatives, spay and neuter assistance, and help for senior citizens with an emphasis on keeping the family unit together.
The warmer months inevitably mean an influx of kittens for adoption, but there are dogs like pretty little Miley, whose owner no longer had time for her, looking for loving homes, too. And there are adult cats, like adorable siblings Winnie and Tigger, who were returned to CAP after their initial placement didn’t work out.
Even if you already have a full house, there are many ways to get involved: foster, volunteer, or just make a donation!
Call (201) 866-1408 or go to caphills.petfinder.com for more information. Donations may be sent to CAP at P.O. Box 3365, Hoboken, NJ 07030.
