Halliburton Homes in partnership with Café Ganache will be holding a charity food drive on Wednesday, November 2, to benefit The Hoboken Shelter. The event will be taking place at Café Ganache, 1500 Hudson Street.
“It’s with great pleasure that we are able to partner with The Hoboken Shelter for this food drive. There is a great deal of satisfaction knowing that the charitable efforts of this event will directly impact the city where we work and live,” explained Matt Franklin, Halliburton Homes Sales Partner.
Franklin, along with Amy DeAngelo, another Halliburton Homes Sales Partner, are the coordinators of this charity drive. DeAngelo shares Franklin’s sentiments of the importance of the charity drive and its impact on the community, “Working with the homeless and helping those in need in our very own community is such a great feeling, especially during this time of giving thanks,” said DeAngelo.
Non-perishable food donations will be accepted from 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Food will be collected and transported to the shelter in reusable plastic bins donated by Bin-It, a Hoboken company that promotes sustainability through their eco-friendly, reusable moving supplies and bins.
All who donate will be entered in a raffle to win a $150 gift certificate to Amanda’s Restaurant, 908 Washington Street.
Those interested in participating should text “charity” to 70000. For more information, visit www.upstyleliving.com.
