Photographers are just like snow flakes right? I mean they must be since one never sees the same picture twice and with all the scenery in Hoboken and neighboring New York City, Jennifer Casson of Hoboken loves to photograph both. The school teacher / school counselor turned photographer.
Following the footsteps of her father, Jennifer has been taking pictures since she was 4 years old and considers Hoboken a great place to shoot her visions. "I adore shooting photos in Hoboken because of its history, bustling small town feel, and intricate details. There are so many small alleys, nooks, and secret places that are left untouched, and it is my goal to find them and incorporate them while composing colorful photographs. I aim to showcase the beauty in even the most ordinary, inanimate objects on film. I enjoy shooting engagement photos, pets, babies, children's parties, and other significant, precious moments and events. " says Jennifer.
When not taking pictures, the Hoboken resident can be seen shopping and dining in the mile square city. "My favorite places to go in town are Wicked Wolf, 1 Republik, Grimaldi's or Margherita's (for a great Italian meal), the Clinton Social (yummy food just one block from my house), Midtown Authentic (fabulous designer and vintage finds!), and by the waterfront on Sinatra to view the city that never sleeps. I also love the dog park where I can longingly watch pets and their owners play (since I live in an apartment that won't allow dogs)! " added Jennifer.
