This Friday, Dec. 30th from 6pm-9pm come on out and get your New Year started right by attending the Jackson Street Fire Fundraiser and help support the 4 women displaced by the tragic fire that took the homes and possessions of the 4 women at 97 Jackson Street on December 17th.
Everything the women owned was destroyed by the fire and on December 30th we are coming together as a community at Room 84 to show these women that Hoboken cares about it's residents. There is going to be a large silent auction / raffle and there will be free food on hand from local eateries Giovanni's, La Bella Torte Cannoli Truck, The Turtle Club and Balbo's Pizza. A donation of any amount is asked at the door for entrance and all in attendance receive a free drink courtesy of Room 84.
Some of the items up for grabs this night include Devils and Knicks tickets, autographs from Derek Jeter, Eli Manning, Mark Sanchez, Martin Brodeur and Rutgers legend Ray Rice. There is also lots of gift cards from area stores and restaurants.
Stevens University will also be giving everyone in attendance a free ticket to their NCAA Men's Basketball games which are valid for any home game at Stevens. Hoboken Batman will be in attendance as well, signing free autographs and posing for pictures with guests.
All of the women displaced by the fire will be in attendance as well. This will be a great night and together as a community we will show our love and help to those in need. If you are unable to attend the event paypal donations can be made to jstuiver@paypal.com.
