Last night Hoboken, NJ got a little taste of PARTY ROCK as world famous group LMFAO played at the W Hotel in front of a small crowd of invited clients, friends and customers. The event which was held in the Great Room at the W Hotel started at 8pm and went for several hours. Celebrities such as Marlon Wayans, Joe Joe Jonas and NY Giants Tight End Travis Beckum were in attendance partying like rock stars themselves, the crowd was going nuts and Hoboken and everyone was SHUFFLING!

Like every anniversary, the W Hotel celebrates in grand style every year with a music act that could never be bettered. Last year, guest were treated to a special performance by Swizz Beatz and P. Diddy, the year before that Snoop Dog rocked the 1st anniversary party.

LMFAO front man Sky Blu took to the stage around 1030 pm and performed all of the LMFAO hits, opening with PARTY ROCK ANTHEM and then followed by several of their top hits. The stage featured not only LMFAO’s Sky Blu but also saw W Hotel personnel and their families PARTY ROCKING too, kids in attendance were able to bust a move alongside Sky Blu and his crew.

The evening was made more fun with a cash bar and bottle service. $8 bottled beers and $10 mixed drinks had event goers lined up at the bar, while some chose to sit at a private table and order bottle of their favorite champagne and liquors. Hunt Ethridge, co-founder of Hoboken site LocalJoey.com said “I’m sexy and I know it, I am a big fan of LMFAO, I love that they mix fashion and music together” when asked what he thought about the event.

Local notables in attendance included Frank Raia, Danny Dragone of Carlos Bakery, Hoboken Patch writer Alan Skontra, Chandelier Room GM Darren Conway, Anthony Romano, Hoboken promoter James Ventola and Leo Pelligrini. What’s in store for the 4th year anniversary?, one can only wait in anticipation.
