CJ is one heck of a Hoboken pooch. He is 12, he can run, he can fetch and he can love like no other and yet CJ has just 3 legs. Maryanne Cameron of Hoboken says “We found CJ when he was just a few months old, he was found on the streets of Jersey City, CJ enjoys barking religiously and all treats meat based related”.

Cancer sadly struck CJ two years ago, causing CJ the loss of his back left leg. But as this writer will tell you, CJ is just like any ordinary dog in town. CJ loves the Church Square Dog Park and he loves to voice his thoughts through his barks, barks so loud, energetic and yet powerful, you’d think CJ was just a pup and not just some old furry friend to the end. A true dog park warrior with only 3 of his legs, CJ commands much respect from all the other dogs in Church Square Park.

Maryanne, whose husband Jason is the star of Man Caves and Desperate Landscapes on the DIY Network says “CJ Loves to hang out in our backyard and patrol for squirrels, he is a pup at heart and he just loves being himself”. CJ is a trooper of the Hoboken Dog Nation, in fact he is the boss, everyone else get in line….
