All Signs Point to Venus

If you follow Zodiac Forecasts as closely as I do, you may have noticed that British Sun-Sign Astrologer, Jonathan Cainer has predicted your zodiac forecast around the rare transit of Venus.

While those who are not well-versed in astrology or astronomy may have blown this off as some far fetched idea, star-watchers around the world gathered last night and this morning in hopes of watching Venus in it’s rare transit around the sun.

As my Libra forecast for today, June 6th, reads, “The rare transit of Venus won’t happen again until 2117. If you’re looking for more love, money or inspiration in life, you can find it now,” astrologers believe that the transit of Venus brings good luck.

Drew University Astronomy Professor, Robert Murawski says that for those who take interest in solar systems, this is a highly anticipated event. “The alignment only happens every 125 years or so. We get two transits every 125 years spaced by 8 years. The last one was in 2004, the next two are likely 125 years from now.”

Since the astrologers, astronomers, and rookie star-watchers that set out last evening and this morning to watch this transit will likely be dead when the next transit happens, it was quite a bummer that the New Jersey/New York area was too cloudy for a good view.

While Prof. Rob explains that Venus aligns with the sun about every 500 days, the visible transit of Venus is so rare because of Venus’ inclination in respect to the earth’s orbit. Since this may be too complicated for the untrained mind to understand, Prof. Rob advises the rookie astronomer to: take a piece of paper, draw a sun at the center. Then, draw a small earth and a path of travel (orbital path) around, but far away from the sun.

Although I haven’t tried it, (don’t tell him that since I was a student in his class last summer) he says it will allow you to understand essentially what the transit of Venus looks like. “When looking at your piece of paper, you will be able to see that we only get a transit of Venus when Venus is in the plane of the paper AND when the Earth, Venus, and the sun are all in a row.”

While most in this area were unable to see the transit, it was reported to appear like a black dot gliding across the face of the sun. A very unique thing to witness visually, Jonathan Cainer promises the transit of Venus will change people’s lives forever.

The homepage to his website today reads, “If you are exceptionally sensitive, you may notice a new idea or understanding arising almost straight away. But it will be over the coming days and weeks that you really feel the difference. Expect a greater willingness to overcome conflict, an enhanced ability to appreciate the best qualities in others and a renewed sense of hope regarding all efforts to attain worldly security.”

Venus, known in the astrology world as the ultimate sign of female power, Cainer predicts this transit to be a sure sign of the male agenda. He writes, “Up until now, we have been living in a world where all the rules are set by men. Women have taken up some positions of authority and influence but they have largely been obliged to implement and enforce a male agenda. No longer need that be the case.”

So, even if you’re bummed you missed the visible transit, you can look forward to all the “love, money, inspiration,” and of course, girl power in the upcoming months as promised by an expert of the stars!
