There was a time when knowing your pharmacist was almost as important as knowing your doctor. Step back in time for a little bit of old world service at Albini Pharmacy. Just over 130 years old and practically unchanged, opening the door to Albini is similiar to walking into another time.
Glass cabinetry lines the walls of the pharmacy holding perfectly aligned products. A ladder leans against the wall for those who can’t reach the higher shelves.
All the while, racks of greeting cards, candy, soda, and beautiful photos by the owner himself, Sal Migliorelli, sit amongst the solid wooden walls. If you dare, step onto the vintage scale for your weight and fortune.
Don’t be fooled by the classic interior, they’ve kept pace with the times! They utilize the most modern technology and provide customers with services that aren’t always available in chain pharmacies.
Akin to the architecture and services, employees are just as outstanding. When entering the shop, expect a down-to-earth, knowledgeable and helpful staff. I’m always greeted kindly and always remembered – by name.
If you’re ready for a change of pace, stop in for a visit. I did and never left. You won’t be disappointed.
