I’m a fan of good cooking, but not always inclined to cook. One night, as I ventured down Washington Street, the usual suspects of pizza, sushi, or burgers didn’t catch my eye. I found myself in the mood for something different – something eclectic.

Low and behold at 618 Washington Street, I found Matt & Meera, one of Hoboken’s newest eateries, and wow-mission accomplished! With their global-inspired menu, there is nothing like it in town.

From their Naan pizza to the crispy prawns and lamb sliders, their innovative East-meets-West inspired menu has a little something for everyone. Matt & Meera have created a warm and inviting space, tastefully decorated with a beautiful, long wooden communal table, open seating and complementary refreshing lemon water while u wait! A new brunch menu has now been introduced, featuring masala steak and eggs and a refreshing watermelon and feta salad- yum!

As tempting as all this food was, I don’t think I’d attempt to recreate it home. But fortunately, I don’t have to! Have a taste. Their Eastern inspired fare just might inspire you!
