OUT OF THE DARKNESS: Walk to Prevent Suicide — SUNDAY, OCTOBER 29 @ STEVENS

Out of the Darkness Walks are proof that when people work together they can make big changes in the world.

They are the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention‘s (AFSP) largest fundraiser, producing millions for suicide prevention programs, uniting those who have been affected by suicide, and creating communities that are smart about mental health. AFSP is the leader in the fight against suicide. We fund research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss.

Hoboken’s Out of the Darkness Community Walk will take place on Sunday, October 29th at Stevens Institute of Technology.

The walk route is approximately 3 miles—starting at Palmer Lawn, then heading south on Hudson to 5th, crossing Sinatra, going south on Sinatra Dr. to Pier Park A, back north up Sinatra Drive to the 14th St Pier, then west on 12th, south on Hudson and finish at Palmer Lawn.

Online registration will close at noon on Friday, October 27th. If you miss online registration you can register on the morning of the walk.
