Patricia’s Yarns would like to sponsor Hoboken Elementary and Middle School teachers who are interested in offering knitting classes to their students. Over the summer, Hoboken teachers can take free beginner knitting lessons and receive free materials to teach knitting to students during the 2012-2013 school year.

Knitting is a great hobby that teaches kids mathematics, repeated patterns, following directions, fine motor skills, and how to make things with their own hands.
