The City of Hoboken and the Division of Cultural Affairs is offering free movies this summer on Wednesdays at Pier A. During June and July the movies will start at 9pm and at 8pm in August. For a comfortable viewing experience bring a blanket or low back chair.

Tonight features the Oscar winning French film The Artist. George Valentin is a silent movie star fading into oblivion with the emergence of talking pictures, but finds solace in Peppy Miller, a young dancer making her way into talking-picture fame.
