FRIDAYS ARE FOR FRANK: It’s A Blue World

There has been a lot of discussion about reds and blues in the news recently.

Of course no one sang the blues like Ol’ Blue Eyes.

And when it came to being screwed over, Frank Sinatra could get a little blue with the language…

In 1990, Sinatra was seemingly slated to play the opening of (President-for-now) Donald Trump’s now-bankrupt Taj Mahal Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. When it came time to discuss the numbers, Trump allegedly tried to low-ball Frank.

According to the story from his business manager, Sinatra responded by saying Trump could, “go $*% himself.”

That’s Hoboken for, “thanks, but no thanks.”

On that note, here’s Frank Sinatra singing “It’s A Blue World,” a 1940 song written by Chet Forrest and Bob Wright.

We’re sending this out to a special someone
