Hockey Fights Cancer is an initiative supporting cancer research and hospitals founded in 1998 by the NHL and the National Hockey League Players’ Association, with dedicated Hockey Fights Cancer games played by every team since 2008.

The Devils will host Hockey Fights Cancer Night on Friday, October 28, against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Players will wear special lavender Hockey Fights Cancer warmup jerseys, which will be auctioned. All proceeds will be directed to the Valerie Fund waiting room at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
