GIVE BLOOD: American Red Cross Asks Hoboken Residents for Support
In the wake of tragic events, many people are asking, “How can I help?”
Donations of money and supplies are one thing—but as the swift and effective response to the Hoboken Train Crash two weeks ago underscores, there is always a need for blood donations.
As we all know, the crash resulted in one fatality, while 108 others were injured. Some of those people still remain in the hospital, with a long road to recovery ahead. Meanwhile, a massive, traumatic event on this scale certainly taxes the blood supply in our area. One way we can thank our heroic first responders is to make their jobs easier—by donating blood.
