Hoboken High School Hispanic Culture Club — Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The Hoboken High School Hispanic Culture Club will honor four Hall of Fame inductees this Wednesday, June 3 at 7 p.m. in the Hoboken High School auditorium.

These four individuals—Luz Durando, Ruben Gonzalez, Maria Morales and Edith Vega—are leaders, mentors, and a source of inspiration to the students and staff of the Hoboken Public Schools and the Hoboken community with a combined 145 years of service to the Children of Hoboken, the Hispanic and Hoboken communities.

Under the leadership of Christopher Munoz, the Hispanic Culture Club delves into history to help create an intimate knowledge of the role that Hispanics have played in the history and psyche of the United States and Hoboken.

Wednesday’s event will also feature the debut of a new documentary, “Hoboken Habla,” plus music and a presentation to the American Heart Association.
