What’s in your (neighbor’s) wallet?
If you live in Hoboken, odds are there’s a few bucks in there.
Using data on household income from the 2013 American Community Survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, NerdWallet.com found the percentage of households making over $100,000 in each city. To gain a better understanding of income, they found the percentage of households making over $150,000 and $200,000 as well.
Their findings show that 54% of Hoboken residents make over $100,000. Additionally, 33.2% make over $150K, while 19.5% make over $200,000.
Bottom line: If you’re concerned about keeping up with the Joneses, you’d better be in pretty good shape.
