NATIONAL POETRY MONTH: Little City Books to Host Poetry Workshop for Kids — Sunday

Little City Books (100 Bloomfield Street) will host a Poetry Workshop for Kids, ages 4–9 (ish)—this Sunday, April 10th at 11am.

Passionate poetry reader and teacher Maria Faskianos will host this party, with the hope of instilling in children an appreciation of poetry.

Kids are invited bring a poem they love—or even one they’ve written—to read aloud or recite by heart.

Or bring nothing! Everyone will memorize a short poem to take home.

The event is FREE.
