Hoboken could very well become the East Coast equivalent of Silicon Valley.

A number of people are starting think that way—most notably entrepreneur Marc Lore, who has perched Jet.com‘s corporate headquarters on the west side of the Hudson waterfront.

“If you’re going to situate a company in the New York area,” says Lore, “I can’t think of a better place than Hoboken.”
