EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: High Winds from Hurricane José Topple Construction Facade in Hoboken

Surveillance cameras at the Marciano Law Firm in Hoboken captured the terrifying moment when a burst of high winds blew down the facade of a building under construction on bustling Newark Ave, between Washington and Hudson Streets.

The resulting damage left the street closed to car and pedestrian traffic during the evening rush hour.

The City of Hoboken reports that the street had reopened just before 8:30 this evening. Hurricane José is producing winds, rain and coastal flooding that continue to impact the area.

As for the building, it had been damaged in a fire on February 4th of this year.
